【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthecomposition,size,dimensions,andphysicalpropertiesofflexiblefiberglassblanket,ductwrap,usedtoexternallyinsulateHVACductsusedforthedistributionofconditionairwithatemperatureupto250x00B0;F(121x00B0;C).1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonlyandmaybeapproximate.1.3Whentheinstallationanduseofthermalinsulationmaterials,accessories,andsystemsmayposesafetyandhealthproblems,themanufacturershallprovidetheuserappropriatecurrentinformationregardinganyknownproblemsassociatedwiththerecommendeduseofthecompany''sproducts,andshallalsorecommendprotectivemeasurestobeemployedintheirsafeutilization.Theusershallestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethods,Section13,inthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
